Webinar: Consumer brands’ new relationship with technology

Published on 19 Mar 2019 | 1 minute read

Consumer brand businesses face myriad challenges from today's disruptive trends.

As a consequence, many brands now have new relationships with technology, whether the technology is incorporated into their products, turns their product into ‘product + service’ offering, or creates new routes to market with New Retail. We call this space BrandTech.

In the first of a two part series, Tim Smith and Andrew Gaule will look at BrandTech through the lens of China. They will explore three ways in which new technologies are impacting traditional business models:

  • new science embedded in the product to create next-generation product offerings
  • data-generating devices creating a new service based relationship, and
  • new social connectivity creating innovative new value chains.

Tim and Andrew will examine what China represents for consumer brand businesses both as a challenge for domestic innovation and as an opportunity for global innovation.

Tim Smith is a Principal at Rouse Consultancy. Andrew Gaule is CEO of Aimava and author of Purpose to Performance - Innovative New Value Chains.

The webinar will be recorded.  Please sign up to get reminders for the live event and access to the webinar with slides afterwards.
