Our team have contributed the Swedish chapter to Lexology’s In-Depth series which provides analysis of global legal issues and their commercial implications. The Intellectual Property section (formerly The Intellectual Property Review) now in its 14th edition has included Sweden for the first time.
Our authors, Matti Lindberg, My Mattsson, Thomas Ernby and Torbjörn Presland, discuss Sweden’s approach to trade marks, patents, designs, copyright, trade secrets and company names. The chapter includes an annual review of each IP type, how protection can be obtained and how rights can be enforced. It concludes by looking to the future including the continuing impact of new European legislation.
